We're sorry to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the SO Fringe Festival will be postponed until next year.
After some unexpected setbacks, we're taking some time to strategize, apply for funding, and build stronger partnerships for next year. Our goal is to return bigger and better, with plans for a bi-annual event.
We appreciate your support and hope you'll join us on this journey in the future. Thank you for understanding and thank you to everyone who applied - we'll be in touch next year.
The aim for the festival is to not only showcase the superb artists of Southampton, but to also improve access to the arts and live entertainment for the entire city. By using popular venues within the city centre, we aim to programme events in accessible and familiar venues for the city’s residents.

Our main objective for the festival is for this to be the start of long-lasting culture event. We want to engage much more of the city than have previously attended arts events.

We have performances that are at various stages of production. We would like for performances that are at a more infant stage to use the festival as a spring board for further development and performances.
